Fakir, Extreme Fire Performer, Singer, Choreographer, Compere, Freak Show Artist, Underground Icon
and The Most Extreme Female Suspension Act In The World.

Lucifire has been working as a professional, featured, speciality act for over 13 years; touring extensively across the globe with her varied repertoire. Her performances are highly skilled, calling on her many years of training, professionalism and experience. All are performed in an individual style making her shows quite unique.

Luci performs as the much sought after’ highest billed sideshow act’ at many prestigious events, such as the UK’s Glastonbury Festival, The Metal Hammer Awards and The Lord Mayor Of London’s Thames Festival (where she not only featured her circus acts but also sang, fronting a 22 piece swing band, The London Swingfonia)

Identified as a strong female performer, she has been interviewed both for her substantial body of work and her opinion as a female icon with translations into several languages; she is seen in many coffee table books and countless magazines (including covers), newspapers and television programmes worldwide. She was the only solo artist to be featured in the Discovery Channel’s “The New Sideshow”, a definitive documentary covering contemporary sideshow (alongside groups such as The Jim Rose Circus, Carnival Diablo…) and toured with her peers in The Modern Primitives show.

A darling of the underground, Lucifire has long been associated with the performance art, bizarre cabaret and body art scenes. She continues to tour the globe with Torture Garden, the UK's most cutting edge fetish club and underground performance art arena where her shows began over a decade ago. She can also be seen across the respected British establishment, from The Royal Albert Hall to the BBC World Service and Sunday Times Style Magazine.

After excelling at school (Scottish Higher Education Certificates in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Art and Latin) and a short time working in Research Laboratories (HNC in Chemistry) Luci decided to devote herself to the performing arts. After graduating with a Batchelor of Arts in Contemporary Dance from London Contemporary Dance School she worked for the UK government as community arts worker and dance teacher, simultaneously developing her own solo acts and building up a reputation as a unique stage performer. Further to this, with safety in mind, Luci has obtained BTEC certificates in both Pyrotechnics and Fireworks, as well as maintaining current First Aid Certificates.

Luci is now well recognised as the UK’s foremost proponent of technical and professional fire eating and a well known artist throughout the world. She is consulted by members of the entertainment industry regarding fire safety (as well as art direction) at events and works to a strict safety code. Luci is a member of the international Professional Fire Performers Volunteer Safety Programme.

Luci’s work has now expanded and developed in her partnership with respected body artist, performer and body modification expert Dave Tusk, pairing their combined experience and expertise in their performance art and their own travelling sideshow, “The Fire Tusk Pain Proof Circus”. At the peak of the current burlesque revival they bring challenging and extreme shows to eager audiences.
